Boat Tours high seas fishing the offshore adventure

 

Spending a day offshore and learning Trolling, Spinning and Jigging fishing techniques. Enjoying cold breakfast on board prepared by our crew. Experiencing the fishing life in Dalmatia and becoming familiar with the lifestyle of the local fishermen. Enjoying your time onboard while waiting for the first catch. You don’t have to worry about the equipment. We will prepare everything necessary (fishing equipment, baits, boat and fishing licenses). Make sure to have enough sunscreen by your side. Bring some warm spare clothes. The weather can be unpredictable. Capture the best moments of the trip with a waterproof camera or smartphone.

6:45 Meet at the agreed meeting point (port of Split or ports in the towns of the island of Brač)  

 

7:00 Departure from meeting point 

  • As we sail to fishing locations on the high seas, we fish using the trolling technique.
  • Arriving at the fishing location, we fish jigging, spinning and bottom fishing techniques from the boat.

Trolling or Little Big game fishing

 

Extremely attractive fishing technique that we practice in the spring and summer part of the season on the high seas. Then, smaller tuna, bluefish, mackerel, bonito and other pelagic coastal fish are caught on artificial lures by pulling behind the boat, and especially Little tunny in the beginning of the season. Accessories and fishing rods up to 50 lbs in size are used, and a larger number of lures (up to 6 rods) are pulled behind the boat. Fishing is really attractive because there is often a massive attack of tuna on baits, then more fish bite at the same time, and then there is real action on board.

Jigging

 

According to the needs and wishes of the guests, Jigging is often fishing technique which we have on offer. Following the world trends, where this method is extremely popular, we began to apply it in the Adriatic. Fishing is done with special metal artificial lures that go down to the seabed, after which they pull towards the surface with specific jerky movements. We distinguish two jigging techniques - slow jigging, and vertical speed jigging. Beautiful specimens of dentex, grouper, scorpionfish, john dory, sea bream, but also dozens of lesser-known species of fish are caught.

Meeting Point

The meeting point is common in the port of the city from where we start the tour, ie from the port of Split or the port of the town of the island of Brac - Supetar, Sutivan, Postira or Milna, where our friendly staff will be waiting for you at the agreed time.

Please be on time as we prefer to get an early start and make the most of the tour.
